Don Julio 1942 Anejo Tequila Don Julio 1942 Añejo Tequila is handcrafted in tribute to the year that Don Julio González began his tequila-making journey. Aged in small batches for 2 and a half years, our añejo tequila is made with 100% Blue Weber Agave that is ready for any celebration. Simply serve neat in a snifter or on the rocks for a classic and simple drink. Don Julio tequila is produced in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, one of the country’s most fertile agave-growing regions. The microclimate and mineral-rich clay soil allow the blue agave plant to flourish. Each bottle of Don Julio tequila is produced here and features our NOM number — our seal of authenticity — signifying where the tequila was made. Unlike many other distilleries, La Primavera only produces our ultra-premium tequila that is crafted with the same attention to detail and passion that founder Don Julio González embodied. Please drink responsibly.

Don Julio Rosado Reposado Tequila Julio Gonzalez was a simple farmer with an unparalleled devotion to his craft. His relentless devotion revolutionized the world of tequila making, bringing it to uncharted heights. Always in search of better, Don Julio cared for his agave with the highest quality in mind. Each agave was carefully planted, giving them the room to fully grow and mature, and he hand-selected only the sweetest, most luscious portion of the pinas to be harvested at the peak of ripeness.

Don Julio Primavera Reposado Tequila This limited-edition expression builds on the fantastic Don Juan Reposado expression. After having spent 8 months in American oak, it gets finished in casks that used to hold wine made from macerated orange peels.

Don Julio Ultima Reserva Extra Añejo Tequila - This premium tequila was first matured in ex-bourbon oak casks, before being finished in barrels that have been seasoned with Madeira wine. This results in a rich and fruity spirit with toasted oak, caramel, and spice notes.

The Don Julio Topshelf Tequila Combo is a harmonious ensemble of premium tequilas that dance gracefully on the palate. With each sip, the smooth and sophisticated blanco tequila enchants with its crisp citrus notes and subtle hints of agave sweetness, while the rich and complex añejo tequila seduces with its velvety texture and layers of caramel and oak. Together, these exquisite expressions create a symphony of flavors that linger long after the last drop is savored, leaving a lasting impression of tequila excellence.

It is distilled, manufactured and bottled by Tequila Don Julio, S.A. de C.V. from its corporate facility in the Colonia El Chichimeco district, in the city of Atotonilco El Alto, Jalisco, Mexico.

Located in the heart of Tequila's central square, a tour not only gives you insight into the history of their tequila-making process but a tasting of their premium tequila, Reserva de la Familia.
Of the nearly 140 tequila distilleries in Mexico, hers is the only one that's led and operated solely by women. Melly Barajas walks through a field of blue agave plants in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, Mexico. The first distillation process takes place in steel distillation columns, during which water is removed and alcohol is concentrated from fermented agave juice. The second distillation takes place in stills to obtain tequila with a range of 55-65% alcohol, depending on the brand.
